Jasmine Norwood

Howard Fellow  iWatch

Norwood graduated magna cum laude from Howard University in December 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism and a minor in sociology.  While attending Howard University, she interned with NBC Network News, CNN, and WHUT-TV. Jasmine is a member of the Emma Bowen Foundation and was one of the 2010 White House Correspondent Association Scholarship recipients. She volunteers at local soup kitchens, mentors with the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, and has traveled to South Africa to work with children who have lost their parents to HIV/AIDS.
